Sun is finally shining!

With the sun shining, I thought it was a good day to go out to the greenhouse and capture some photos.  And you know what?  I'm thinking of taking tomorrow off of work and spend the day in the garden!!  Mental note to oneself:  Don't forget to buy some sunscreen!

The black thing hanging down is actually mesh fabric (like screen) that is folded in half.  The Begonias on the bottom shelf are shade plants.  After I took this picture, I unfolded the mesh to let it hang down. It will protect the Begonias from direct sunlight.

Another favorite photo of my Geraniums.

Almost makes one want to pluck this baby Rosemary and crush between fingers and dreamily inhale the pungent aroma.

Yay!!! Everything is looking so great!!! Its starting to be warmer here, finally! Love the greenhouse! i can hardly wait to get one up here! :) I am starting a BUNCH of "medicinal" herbs lately... went to a class last weekend at baker creek spring fest... excited to get those started! Have to put in some new beds though for them! :) The kids are already eating chives like crazy!!! makes for some stinky breathe though! yuck! :)

Interesting about the soil you used to start with! haha! I just tried some fish emulsion liquid... the plants grew like crazy while i was gone over the weekend... but it WAS stinky! The cats thought it was their new drinking water! haha!

can't wait to see more! thanks for sharing!
